Karlie Kloss experienced a Marilyn Monroe moment on Thursday as her white skirt was lifted over a subway grating in New York City.
The 23-year-old supermodel was strolling in the Chelsea neighborhood when she inadvertently re-enacted the famous scene from Marilyn’s 1955 film The Seven Year Itch.
Karlie wore a below-the-knee pleated white skirt similar to the skirt of Marilyn’s ivory cocktail dress that she wore in the Billy Wilder-directed movie.

The former Victoria’s Secret Angel model paired her white skirt with a blue cotton T-shirt from French designer Vanessa Seward that read ‘Une femme francaise’ up front.
Karlie completed her ensemble with open-toed white heels.
The top model had her blonde hair gathered in a high bun and perched her sunglasses atop her head.
The fresh-faced beauty wore just a hint of natural makeup and carried a black purse with her name on it.
