With a height of 6ft 1in, a ballerina’s physique and a schedule that fits in high intensity interval training as well as classes at New York University and a full-time career as a supermodel, it’s no surprise Karlie Kloss approaches her health and fitness regime like an Olympic athlete.

In an interview with The Sunday Times, the St Louis-born model admits: ‘Even if I’m not an Olympian in Rio right now, I treat myself as an athlete in my daily life.

‘I challenge myself, try new things in my strength training and cardio. I try to be the best I can, whether it’s my fitness routine or how I think about food and nutrition,’ she added.
